Our Humble Beginnings
Since our inception in 2020, we have received applications from over 120 Surrogacy Agencies. We’ve interviewed owners, met teams, and advised on benefit packages to make them fair and competitive for surrogates.
The process of interviewing agencies has taught us something: it’s hard to find our ideal agency. Are we picky? Sure. Are we idealistic? Absolutely. But through that process, we’ve narrowed our partnerships to fewer than 10 agencies that meet our high standards, helping over 1800 women begin their surrogacy journeys through these partners.
Developing Our Own Agency Program
While searching for the best agencies we could find was a great first step, we decided we could do more. In 2023, we stepped up our impact in the surrogacy community by developing our own Agency Program, supporting both surrogates and hopeful intended parents. Over the past year, we’ve created a program we are extremely proud of, alongside our unique and like-minded partner agencies.
Through our Matching Program, we have matched 73+ families and counting and celebrated our first baby born this past June!
Our Vision and the Growth of Our Team
Our initial vision stands: to connect with women and educate them about surrogacy— but the effort to provide ongoing, everlasting support for free, with a dedicated Surrogate Advocate has proven unsustainable.Â
From surveying our staff and surrogates, we’ve found our frequent calls and texts can overwhelm women juggling busy lives and various professional contacts.
Because we partner with top-tier agencies and actively work with them to provide the best service to the amazing moms who become surrogates through us, we can trust that our surrogates can rely on them for support specific to their processes.
Introducing a Team Approach
To balance support without overburdening surrogates or expanding our staff unsustainably, we have devised a team approach that can provide a higher level of support, and not be overbearing, yet continue to have a positive impact.
Surrogate support will now share a single phone number for text messaging, ensuring uninterrupted support without overwhelming surrogates and allowing everyone to access the benefit of each advisor’s unique experience rather than just one person’s expertise! 
This allows us to continue being here for everyone without disruption as our team evolves and changes, and also allows surrogates to save ONE number, knowing they can always reach an advisor ready to help.
Embracing Change
Change can feel big and scary, especially for someone like myself (Sunshine) and Casey, who have been absolutely obsessed with supporting our Surrogate Community and our team in ways we would have wanted when we were surrogates. We love our team and this community.
But change can also be exciting and we are so hopeful that with a team approach, we can better support even MORE women!
